This summer was full of firsts for newBin! After successfully crowdsourcing our first round of funding, we quickly got to work engaging with the Erie community, spreading plastic recycling awareness, and collecting post-use plastic for recycling! Some of the highlights including:

• Putting out over 100 newBins around Erie

• Having a presence at Eight Great Tuesdays and UPMC Sunset Music Series

• Supplying recycling bins for various events such as the Erie food truck, Wild Rib Cook Off, Irish Heritage, and Tall Ships festivals

• Running our first TV advertisement

• Releasing our mobile app and more!
